Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) Tools

MIL X provides Image Compression and Video Encoding tools for optimizing storage and transmission requirements. Lossy and lossless JPEG and JPEG2000 image compression and H.264 video encoding are supported. H.264 support can leverage Intel Quick Sync Video technology for encoding multiple high-definition video streams in real-time. MIL X saves and loads compressed images individually using the JPG and JP2 file formats or as a sequence using the AVI file format. The H.264 elementary stream can be stored in and recovered from a MP4 format file. Compression and encoding settings can be adjusted for different size versus quality.
