Matrox Imaging delivers two comprehensive software platforms for developing machine vision applications. Matrox Design Assistant X is an integrated development environment (IDE) for Microsoft® Windows® where vision applications are created by constructing and configuring flowcharts instead of writing program code. Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) X is a software development kit (SDK) for more traditional programmers, featuring functions for image capture, processing, analysis, annotation, display, and archiving. Both software packages employ deep learning technology to classify image content for automated inspection.

Matrox Design Assistant X
Hardware-independent IDE for creating machine vision applications using a flowchart-based approach. The software also enables users to design a custom browser-based graphical operator interface for the application. Matrox Design Assistant X supports Matrox Imaging smart cameras and vision controllers, and third-party PCs with CoaXPress®, GigE Vision® or USB3 Vision® cameras; it also interfaces directly to 3D sensors for processing and analysis. This IDE gives access to deep learning technology to categorize image content.
Matrox Imaging Library X
Field-proven toolkit with a 25-year history of reliable performance and a repertoire of tools for analyzing, locating, measuring, reading, and verifying. This comprehensive SDK offers support for C, C++, C#, CPython, and Visual Basic® languages; the software also includes MIL CoPilot, an interactive environment for experimentation, prototyping, and code generation, as well as classification tools using machine learning including deep learning.
